How do I install Coachmanager?

The app is available on the App Store and the Google Play Store. You can also log in on your PC at coachmanager.de/coach — all data is synced.

Do I need an account?

Yes. The first time you open the app you create a free account with your email. You're ready to go right away — you can create a team, add players, plan training and record attendance.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free fully covers the solo coach with one team and up to 30 players — including the tactic board, match events, attendance, team logo and the public drill library. Pro removes the quantity limits and unlocks the in-depth features: skill ratings, per-player match history, tournament management, inviting assistant coaches, season statistics, PDF export and advanced reminders. How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Cancellation always goes through the platform where you took out the subscription:
  • iOS: Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases → Manage subscriptions → Coachmanager Pro → Cancel
  • Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Coachmanager Pro → Cancel

After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Your data is fully retained — only the Pro sections are then locked.

How long is the free trial?

Pro Annual comes with a 14-day free trial. During this time you can cancel any time without being charged. If you don't actively cancel, the subscription continues automatically as paid after 14 days. The monthly plan has no trial.

How do assistant coaches join my staff?

If you have Pro: in the app under Profile → Staff → Generate code create an invite code and send it to the assistant coach. They open the app, go to Join staff and enter the code. Once they've joined, they benefit from your Pro subscription too — a single subscription covers the whole staff.

Does Coachmanager work without internet?

Partly. You can view saved trainings, lineups and player data in the app as long as you don't log out. New entries or changes are synced once you're back online. A full offline mode (with conflict resolution) is planned.

How can I delete my data?

In the profile area there's a „Delete account permanently" button at the very bottom. It permanently removes your account and all linked data (trainings, players, drills, diagrams, memberships). This action cannot be undone.

Are push notifications always sent?

Only if you enable them and there's a relevant event/trigger. The default is 60 min before each training/match. You can change the time under Profile → Notifications to 15 min, 30 min, 2 h or 24 h. The advanced reminders (planning incomplete, result missing, review pending) are Pro features.

Sometimes a reply takes longer

Coachmanager is currently built and supported by one person (Dennis Ringkamp). Response time for support requests is typically 24h, and can be a bit longer on weekends or around bigger releases. We won't leave anyone hanging.
